English Self Assessment

Do you know what your level of English is?

At the beginning of any journey, we need to know where we are and where we are going.

In your journey of learning English, it’s important to know your current level of English (where you are) and your desired level of English (where you are going).

So we’ve created a tool to help you with that!

To start the “What is Your Level of English?” self-assessment tool, go to myenglishmatters.com/cefr

This self-assessment tool was developed based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Once you complete the assessment, you’ll know your current level of English based on the CEFR*. You’ll also learn:

– what the other CEFR levels of English are

– what level you should be at

– what you should be focusing on now

– how to get to your next level

*Note: The results of the self-assessment tool should not be considered as an official evaluation.

Many international tests such as IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC are aligned to the CEFR, so we hope this will be helpful for you!
